HORRIBLE service by Delta Airlines, and knocked down on tram/subway at Atlanta Airport. The black female ticket/boarding clerk at Concourse C Gate 53 from 6pm to 11pm on 12/26/08 was not only rude, and unprofessional,ultimately she cost all passengers even more time waiting on the ground- further delay (over an hour) before we could “push back” to even get in line to taxi to the runway for departure! She let too many passengers on the plane, so after we were all seated and buckled in, everyone had to go back in purses etc. to produce their boarding passes. As I must not have been fast enough to suit her, SHE ACTUALLY REACHED INTO MY PURSE to grab what she thought was my boarding pass! My flight that should have arrived in Syracuse N.Y. around 8 pm didn’t get in until after 2 am the next day. During that time I ran out of medication, and had to endure a horrilbe, debilitating migraine headache for the next 5 days! The people who came to pick me up ended up having to rent a hotel room in Syracuse as it was too late to drive back home! We called the airlines before we started for the airport, and only a 10 min delay was listed. Delta may shift the blame, but when the in flight airline attendant could not even produce a pillow or blanket, that is SOOOO bad, and further demonstrates the level of concern by Delta. I must add that before we were even permitted to board the plane in Atlanta, a service crew spent over an hour working on the plane. Obviously, they did not consider passenger comfort; not only no pillows or blankets, but no food after the excessive wait, and they even ran out of beverages. Shabby treatment. I also saw people waiting over 6 hours for a flight to Flint, Mich told in the middle of the night “TOO BAD FOLKS” their flight had been cancelled! They could try again the next day..children screaming and crying - what an experience. It seems in their need to have every seat filled, Delta failed to show any decent concern for passengers who were delayed and couldn’t make connecting fligts - overbooking every flight, and leaving not only myself, but virtually every other customer disappointed and disgusted!

Atlanta is notorious for what you describe. Eventually people will learn that Delta Airlines is the WORST in the industry. Try a different airline, and avoid Atlanta next time. Ask me how I know this??

Seriously, Delta in Atlanta is horrible. I waited 3 hours in line on December 27 at 7AM! Then, flying back into ATL one week later, I walked past the amazingly-long lines at the Delta terminal and heard a flight attendant tell a frustrated waiter “Sorry, this is just a bad day”…

You needn’t say anymore than the BLACK clerk. They think customer service is when you are helping them!!!!
