I have this co-worker who constantly brought personal problems to the job. I complained and nothing was done. One morning, things got completely out of hand, a fight ensued, and I was terminated.
I went though the appeals process and the hearing officer ruled that I should be reinstated. Now here’s the problem. I’m unable to file a lawsuit because there was no grounds for discrimination even though the co-worker attacked me. I’m highly purturbed that there is no statue for protecting employees against insensitive co-workers.

I hear you!!! I’m due to leave the company I currently work for to go to another job because of a coworker is making my life a misery here and nothing is being done by management. And before I get someone saying that I should do something about it, I tried. I tried having a quiet word, I tried ignoring him, I tried talking to HR and management. I even tried telling him to go f**k himself but nothing worked.

I have the MOST ANNOYING coworker in the history of all coworkers! She whines and complains about EVERYTHING. If someone gave her a million dollars she would complain about paying the taxes! She is unhealthy because she smokes like a chimney and gets smashed almost every night. Because of her poor health she is always hot and turns the air conditioning on 65 and freezes everyone else out. When confronted she got SO angry that she about had a heart attack, got even more overheated, and turned the air conditioning even lower. Now, we secretly turn up the thermostat when she is not looking. When she realizes this she runs to thermosat and turns it way down, huffing and puffing, like a freight train, not even bothering to take off her jacket! I want to slap her sometimes but my hands are so cold that they would probably fall off if I tried!
Her list of annoying habits is way too extensive to list here….
Everyone is afraid of her because she cusses and screams and has the complexion of a sailor, so no one can do anything about her.
Maybe someday during one of her rants she will simply explode!
