“Crucial”? Is that what we’re left with? “Crucial Tuesday”? Who in the living hell came up with that one?
For those napping and who plan to wake up and vote in November, I’m talking about the apparent new nickname for the primaries coming up this Tuesday in Texas and Ohio.
It’s got to be the same people/company that came up with “Operation Iraqi Freedom”. Come to think of it, we haven’t had a good “Operation” name since “Operation Desert Storm”, but that’s a different complaint… I’ll save that for later.
Back to “Crucial”. Seriously, “Super Tuesday” sounds fun and… well, super. “Crucial Tuesday” sounds like you’re taking a pregnancy test or something. I guess “Really Important Tuesday” or “Significant Tuesday” didn’t make it.
