In every single college football game the camera scans the crowd and you see it. Some or all of the fans sticking their index finger up and yelling “We’re number one. Go [insert team name here that’s not number one]”.
College football rankings are crazy and they do lead to a certain amount of confusion. Sometimes one or two teams might have a legitimate claim to the number one spot even if they are not ranked number one. But unless you’re one of those teams, or at least one of the teams in the top 10 that could have a shot at being number one, quit flashing the “We’re number one!”
You’re not. You probably won’t be.
You’re in college, think out of the box and come up with something a little more creative.
