Believe it or not, I’m not on a rampage against holidays this month, but I can’t stand Boss Day either.
It really is pitiful when you folks get together on your own and plan to get me a gift. I’m sure you didn’t hatch the plan off the clock, but that’s not my biggest complaint about Boss Day.
It’s utterly rude for the advertisers that drive this holiday to brainwash you into thinking you need to get me a gift. I don’t want a gift. I don’t want a card. Tell me “Happy Bossman Day, thanks for a job” and that’s plenty.
Don’t get me anything. I don’t want it. I’m not trying to be rude I just don’t want you to waste the money I give you for doing nothing on a gift or a card for me. That’s kind of like I’m wasting the money twice and that really pisses me off.
