I want to “Warn” people about the “World Points Rewards Program” with Bank of America. This has got to be one of the most “broken” systems I have ever encountered regarding point systems. Their system looks good and is easy to apply for your rewards, but “beware”. I have a business account with them, which I guess totally confuses them as to how to process my request. They give you one number on the credit card business card and another for the business account, strange! When I go to use the rewards they then give me the run-around because of this. Also, I ordered 2 gift cards about a week before Christmas last year, and you guessed it, I still have not received them. They did not even give me my reward points back on my account. They always act like I am lying to them about not getting the cards, so I asked them if they record the calls and they said “Yes!”, so I said “Well, if you do then you would know that I have been calling since January about this”. They always act “so nice” and always apologize for the trouble. They seem to tell me what I want to hear! Now they are telling me they will get back to me with a “specialist” to discuss this within 30 days! No wonder our banking system is so messed up in this country! I know which bank I will NEVER! use.
