Speedlinking is a term giving by some bloggers to the practice of jamming a post full of links to other blogs.
In a speedlink post, the speedlinker might tell you something like “[insert other blog name] said [insert crap here]”.
A speedlink post can have as many links in it to different blogs as the poster wants, sometimes the speedlinker might speedlink to 10 different blogs for no reason other than to
- Post something just to be posting
- Notify the linked blog that you linked to them in hopes they will return the favor
Speedlinking is annoying and is a cheap cop out for a good post with original content.
The speedlink post must die.
