My biggest complaint about Bill O’Reilly . . . well, I can’t really say it any better than Virginia Beach Police Chief Jacocks did this morning when he was asked what he thought about Bill O -
[O’Reilly is] a pathetic individual, short on manners, large on mouth. [O’Reilly’s] inability to do anything constructive for anyone has relegated him to sitting on his duff and spewing insults and half-truths on a tabloid TV show.

Oh come on… lighten up, he’s an entertainer… and a talented one at that. It’s what he does for a living and he does it with dedication and vigor. The man’s got moxy!

The problem is that the x-Hard Copy tabloid tv entertainer now masquarades as a journalist AND most importantly, the idoits that listen to him believe that he is a journalist. You are correct, he’d make a fine circus clown and nobody would mind watching him getting fired from a canon. I’d even find that entertaining. Franken summed him (and Coulter) up correctly in his book.
It is hard to figure out which one, Coulter or O’Reilly, have their heads the farthest up their own asses (I think that’s what Bill means by the No Spin Zone). Seriously, how does anybody who is as unqualified and incompetent as those two make it so high in the entertainement business. Their talent is only second to Brittany Spears and Paris Hilton.
I don’t disagree that he is a good entertainer, but I disagree with how he presents himself. He -is- in fact a horrible, foolish man. I’ve heard very few intelligent things out of his mouth, and never a single thing that wasn’t extremely biased.
So why, is my question, does he, or anyone else, consider him to be a valid presenter of the “news”? He clearly isn’t, and it’s that kind of judgment malfunction that make Fox News so disliked in the broadcasting community.

No its the fact that Fox News presents the fair and balanced news not a biased shock factor everything is bad that makes Fox so hated in the broadcasting community. It is because they do what the other don’t have the courage to do and the people like it!!!! and they are taking a huge huge market share of viewers from the mainstream “broadcasting community” That makes them hated. Just like if someone were to take a huge share of your business and you make less money as a result you wouldnt like them very well would you?
Same for Fox they do it better and they do it with reality in mind! They don’t skirt the issues as much and they don’t leave out the other half of the story as often.
these are the reasons Fox is hated by its competition.
