My Biggest Complaint About Baseless Office Rumors

I haven’t even screwed, hooked up with, or gotten favorable eye contact from any of the females at work and people are asking me “yo, man, what’s up with you and [female employee’s name]?” What the f**k? This is news to me, and when I ask where they heard this from so that I can go and put a stop to this, they tell me “oh you know, just word of mouth.” F that, I wouldn’t mind so much if I were actually getting some action, but I’m not, so I’m already ticked off.

My biggest complaint about Baseless Office Rumors is not so much that they are rumors, but rather that they are baseless. It really shows how bull**** occurs with absolutely nothing in real life to add merit to it. Now I feel like I should totally get with this chick just so that I can’t really be pissed off anymore. I wish they’d paired me with someone a little hotter though.

  1. At least they’re pairing you with chicks and you’re not suffering like this guy. I hate the office sex rumors, too. I’ve always thought the office setting sex scene rumors prove that people are basically just horndogs and given enough time would probably fall in love with or have sex with anyone within arm’s reach. I think your “baseless office rumor” is part of the office horndog trickle-down effect.

  2. The latest update: I passed the chick they paired me with in the hallway and she ignored me in what I gather to be a very rude manner. A girl who was never too busy to say “hello” wouldn’t even look in my direction. She did it a second time but in a slightly busier situation. This all stinks of this rumor BS.

  3. […] People talk – rumors in the office are spread faster than you can press “publish” on your twitter account. Think 3 times before you say a word. […]
