My Biggest Complaint About Apple Computer Company

My Biggest Complaint about Apple computer company is the fact that Apple has great ideas, but the stuff they make are pieces of sh**. My school has all - Apple equipment and we are constantly having problems with them. I mean, you can’t even use the equipment for 2 minutes without a problem. If Apple could make the stuff as good as it was designed to work, then maybe it might be worth using.

  1. Your school has all Apple equipment and you’re pissed it doesn’t work? I didn’t know kids in Beverly Hills cared that much.

You’d probably be much happier with the 100 150 whatever catchy number it’s up to at this point laptop per child. They work. Just wind and go.

  2. You say you are constantly having problems with all the Apple computers at your school. What type of problems? Hardware breaking, software won’t work, school doesn’t have them upgraded or set up correctly?

Your comment isn’t very helpful and really runs against 20 years of experience with Apple in K-12 and Higher Education.

If every machine is haveing problems every two minutes, it is probably the schools fault not Apples, If every machine is having problems every two minutes, you have plenty of specific examples that you could post here.

Sounds like this really isn’t an accurate or serious complaint about Apple products.

  3. I agree with @helloimamac.. The generic “stuff breaks all the time” is a worthless comment because first.. it goes against the user experiences of a majority of Mac users. There’s a reason Mac OS X has slaughtered Vista in the browser wars.. user experience. As far as “stuff breaking,” that probably a function of teachers or students that don’t know what they’re doing. Of course if my 65 year old Dad can buy a Mac, take it out of the box and use it for years without calling me for “son-tech-support” then that’s saying something. I’ve been using macs exclusively since 1998 and I’ve never had a problem. I use the computers for high-end audio production (Logic esp.) and Apple is the de facto standard in the studio now. Why? It just works. No “configuration” no “system registry” nearly zero viruses. The AppleCare system is also great. I burned out a DVD drive while performing in South Korea.. with Apple Care. I had a new drive, installed in my MacBook Pro the next day — for free. Try that with a Windows POS machine.
